AWC University

Health & Safety Training and Education

All Ways Clean provides in person training to all staff prior to field work through AWC University.  Staff learn everything from cleaning chemistry, health and safety, to best practices. The programs offered are in depth and staff must pass each exam with 90% or higher before they enter the field for hands-on training.

Health, Wellness & Educational Resources

CEO Laura Simpson has long been a firm believer in providing mental health resources to staff. Founded in 2020 during a worldwide Pandemic, the AWC Cares program offers complimentary resource full of wellness and upskilling resources  available to all new, current and transitioning AWC staff.

  • Improved Feedback Mechanisms: AWC provides staff with a digital dashboard to track their mood in the field and give critical feedback about how they're feeling on a daily basis.
  • All Access Pass to Mental Fitness apps: for guided meditations and specialized music playlists to help with stress and focus. Mindful movement video and audio, relaxing sleep stories, wisdom-filled masterclasses led by experts and group work.
  • Field Trips & Team Building Opportunities: community garden planting and picking, Pitch-In Kingston park clean up, group hikes, staff barbecues and more!
  • Open Door Policy All Ways, Always: encourages employees to share their stories, stresses, failures, triumphs, and current situational issues. The company has a library of resources and special funds set aside to aid in mental health resources ranging from psychotherapists and counsellors to recreational and homeopathic solutions.
  • Upskilling Life: provides staff with resources to help them grow within their own life. The program encourages educational upskilling, mentorship and opportunities within the company and beyond.
  • Supporting YOUR future: AWC has experienced many returning staff members; some have been sent off to school or on maternity leave, and the company has experienced many returns from previously hired staff with open arms.
